Baldwin Heights has been celebrating Autism Acceptance month with spirit days, informational lessons about Autism, and the creation of this amazing tree! Every classroom helped create our infinity symbol leaves with each color representing a different grade level. Students decorated their symbols with ways they can help include kids with Autism in their classroom and playtime. Some students with Autism at Baldwin even felt empowered to share about their experiences with their classmates. It has been an amazing month and wouldn't have been possible without the participation of all our amazing teachers and the hard work of Ms. Destine who assembled our massive tree!

The Baldwin Heights School Family wishes to thank Ms. Jones, Mrs. Brimmer, and Mrs. Clevenger for all of their incredible dedication to the Baldwin Heights community! Without them, our school would not be even half as amazing. They are on the front lines and impact our students, staff, and parents on a daily basis. Happy Administrative Professionals Day!!!!!

Check out this video of Mrs. Komar's class throwing water balloons at Mr. Walsh as a reward for reaching their IXL goal! Way to go kids!
