Each year, Cedar Crest holds a carnival for our students at the end of the school year to celebrate the success of the year. Students earn carnival tickets throughout the year by following our school rules, by coming to school, by meeting their Reflex Math goals and by working hard on the M-Step.
In order to run a successful carnival, we need the help of volunteers. If you are able to volunteer to help with our carnival on May 30th, please fill out the following form:

Cedar Crest Families-
On Monday, April 8th, there will be a full solar eclipse that is viewable from Greenville. The timing of this solar eclipse is perfect as most of our classrooms are in their earth science unit right now. In recognition of the eclipse, we will be doing a few things building wide on Monday:
-We encourage all students to dress in all black as a part of the celebration
-Our cafeteria will be serving a special menu on Monday including: Moon Rocks (popcorn chicken), Planetary Peas (peas), Sun Chips, Sliced Moons and Cosmic Clementines, Milky Way Milk and a treat of a Starburst Candy.
-Many of our classrooms will be taking part in viewing the eclipse. For those classrooms, we have purchased eclipse safe glasses.
The district sent out a letter earlier today asking for your support in reminding your child(ren) not to directly look at the sun during the eclipse. We appreciate your support with this!

Safety tips for the Solar Eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024. For more information, please visit https://science.nasa.gov/eclipses/safety/
